Goblin Tools — ultra-simple AI helpers for neurodivergent brains
A suite of lightweight AI tools: task breakdown (Magic ToDo), email tone translator (Formalizer), time estimator. Free, web, low-friction, built by an AuDHD developer.
What it is
Goblin Tools is a suite of mini AI web tools, each focused on a single useful task for neurodivergent folks:
- Magic ToDo: describe a task (“do my taxes”), the AI breaks it into sub-tasks, which you can “spicy-up” to break down even further.
- Formalizer: paste raw text, pick a tone (neutral, professional, warm, concise) → get a rewrite.
- Estimator: estimate how long a task will take.
- Judge: analyse the perceived tone of a message you received (useful for RSD).
- Compiler: extract a to-do from a messy brief.
Built by a Belgian AuDHD developer (Bram De Buyser).
Who it’s for
Anyone who needs a light nudge without adopting a full app. Ideal for neurodivergent folks who drown in big suites like Notion/ClickUp.
ADHD-optimal setup
- Go to goblin.tools. No account needed.
- Try Magic ToDo on a task that’s blocking you right now.
- If it helps → install the mobile app (0.99 €).
- Add a home-screen shortcut so you can reach it in one tap.
Concrete example
Task: “File my tax return”
Magic ToDo might break it down into:
- Find the reminder email from the tax authority (e.g. impots.gouv.fr in France, HMRC in the UK, IRS in the US)
- Get your login credentials
- Log in to the tax portal
- Open the pre-filled return
- Check the income/salary box
- Check the tax credits
- Validate and sign electronically
You click “Spicy” to re-break a sub-task that’s still too vague.
Verdict
A tool that’s simple, free, powerful, written by someone who understands the neurodivergent brain. No gimmicks, no pushy marketing. Worth keeping permanently in your toolbox.
